Three Kisses Before the morning's light chase shadows from my room You left three kisses on my lips So that when I awaken My soul will be embraced by your faraway love My heart wants to remember what I dreamt of this night But dreams drift away as if blown like thistle-down before the wind My Dream Spirit toils to capture the shards of lost thoughts and emotions And once it collects all the fragments The world suddenly blurs Images of you flower into beautiful shapes around me Charming my soul My heart falls before your feet, rejoicing in our love And when your dream lips meet mine my spirit is engulfed in flames You sing to my Passion with whispers For you know how fragile and delicate is she Anything greater than a faint echo would turn her to dust And the evening breeze would carry her away from my soul My dream finally fades Dissipating like gray phantoms surrendering to the emerging Sun God And I am left tasting the warmth of your three kisses Still caressing my soul |
