Ocean

I'm walking along the shore of a vast ocean
I look out over the raging waters and it's as dark as my fury
Black clouds race across the sky chasing angels and
I feel the waves' anger as they come crashing, crashing down onto the rocks

I hear the children of the waves singing the songs of sorrows to my lonely soul
I cannot resist their seductive lyrics and
I cast my spirit into the cold waters

The children's laughter carries me out to sea

The moon turns as red as blood and overflows with indignation and
Its malice condemns my soul
For I foolishly relinquished my precious earthly existence with such ease

I grow weary fighting the dark serpents the children delivered me to
And my head finally slips beneath the waves

The abyss takes me away, away and the
Agonizing numbness of my frozen heart brings me final peace
