Life's Decisions Intricately interlaced knots Is the soul of all things hidden Never sever what can be untied By the spindle Is spun an abstract tapestry of every moment Each strand of intention and thought overlaying the next Leading inexplicably toward the next fragment of my future Creating a fine garment or a coarse cloth One I wear each day of my life Time contains all within her coils At her heart lies decisions Turning into an elaborate spiral about a circle of emptiness The divergence of ways Sundering of past and future Slipping away from The Blessed Restless and about to explode into nothingness My soul is cast endlessly across the earth An insufferable nimbus clouding the path to divinity So I settle into quieter games Cat's cradle with subtle strands I conjure up from my own non-substance Clever fingers threading through a paradigm of delusion and regrets Denying the existence of my ever dimming future |
