Incognita A disembodied frail shadow Imprinted in silicon and wire Diverges into aimless patterns of self-revelations A sun painted dappled of tears searching for kindred souls A pale and featureless visage Revealing dark figures from a tragic past Huddled forever silent, sullen and desolate Every nuisance of there drawn faces a disconsolate corona of dark and gray Dissolving into twisted patterns of circuitry I trace a cybernetic path incognita In a matrix of indistinct seductive intrusions I find those who feel as I Verses delineate the afflictions of my soul Fragile Subtle Insubstantial Recollections converge with a suffocating oneness obscuring my vision A chaotic storm of sentiments radiate distorted digital images My feet swirl in gray sensations Until I'm encompassed in a elaborate plume of silence Still visible but nebulous The delicate shading of my form becomes profoundly disturbed By the shattered diffusion of my sense of self Disconnect Isolate Dissociate I can never seem to hold anyone close very long Nowhere does fate directed lives promised with dignified ends |
