Faraway Stranger

Faraway Stranger
Our shadows pass unseen

When I walk past you everyday
Sorrow gently touches my hand and
My heart fades away like a summertime flower dying in the cold autumn wind
I secretly yearn for your thoughts to drift my way
Just for a moment's time

If only I could share my love with thee
Light would finally be cast upon my despondent spirit

So I quietly beseech to thee

Will you taste the fruits of my soul?
Its sweet nectar would caress your gentle lips and
Your eyes would finally be filled with love for me

But alas, you will know nothing of my desires
I am faceless wreckage in your mind

So my heart lies idle deep in the dark waters of my spirit and
Solitude tugs incessantly at my mind

And tomorrow I will pass by you again
And once again the shadows of angels will shroud me in ashes
